...A Little History...
If you live anywhere near the Mahaffie House in Olathe -- this weekend you heard a LOT of activity, including cannon-fire! This past weekend marked the 11th annual Civil War re-enactment, and since I have lived here my whole life I thought that I would go and check it out on Sunday afternoon. And of course, I brought my camera...and used some "aging" effects in Photoshop for a couple of these images!
I love how they had the old-style camera out there too -- posing for a group picture. While most people took pictures of the soldiers, I had to get one of the camera! Not to mention the blacksmith, and a young girl who was trying to keep her bonnet on in the wind!

So cool! I saw that it was going on but had baby showers to go to. Nice pics!
These are absolutely GREAT. I loved the actions you used. The photographer I aspire to be like some day when I grow up :)
