Lots of you have told me that you miss having new posts to look at out here!
Well, the July vacation month is over -- and this weekend starts the weddings and portraits again! So don't worry -- the wait is almost over for some new pictures and stories on the blog... ;)

In the meantime, here are a couple of Dave from the weekend at the lake!

..the Samples..

Last night one of my favorite bands -- the Samples -- were in town for a concert down in Westport. I love this venue because there are no rules about cameras -- so naturally I pack the good stuff... ;)
This is the second time that I have seen the Samples there, and again I got some great shots! Sean is infamous for video taping a little bit of his crowds, and you can see from the picture that Dave and I made it into the shot!! My face of course is being covered by my camera!

..Vacation Time..

So the month of July I decided to take a vacation from weddings, plus the fact that it gets SO HOT here in the lovely state of Kansas for a full-day of pictures! I wanted to be sure to have plenty of lake time, and time with family & friends. I am still taking portraits on select weekends this month -- so if your family hasn't had a portrait taken since the 10-year-old was a baby -- now would be a great time to call!
