...Yesterday's Wedding!...

Yesterday I photographed a wedding -- where I caught an amazing image that I simply cannot wait to share! But you will have to wait until tomorrow...how is THAT for suspense??? :)

...Puppies!!!...

Our good friends Mark & Joel have been hunting for some lab puppies, and Sunday night after a long drive each brought home a black lab! Yesterday was National Photography Day, so I thought it would be fun to use them as my subjects and get to meet these two. They are TOO cute -- and yes Dave, I want one! :)

...the Beachey Girls...

Now I KNOW that time is flying -- I photographed Gabby when she was just a baby, and now she is running/jumping/dancing/flipping all over the place! And now there is a new little girl in this family -- and isn't she just precious?!?! The day was beautiful, and thanks to their Mom for giving me the name of a new kid-music artist (Laurie Berkner)!

...Baby Nate is 9 Months!...

Saturday afternoon I was able to take Baby Nate's third portrait session at 9 months! This little guy has got to be the happiest baby, and growing up SO fast. Hard to believe I took his newborn pictures that long ago! Again, it is always hard to pic some favorites but here they are -- and his cute SLIDESHOW!

...Sarah & Josué...

Sarah & Josué were in town for little Alli's First Birthday Party (see below), and they received their engagement session as a gift after the party! What a great idea, and I think that they managed to have some fun on the shoot as well. These two will be getting married in Chicago, and they selected a song from the musical "RENT" (which is awesome) for their slideshow!

...A First Birthday...

On Saturday I was an honored guest at the 1st Birthday of little Alli -- and it was a Ladybug Birthday! It was her first taste of cake/sugar, and I think she really liked it! When she was all cleaned up from her bath (since there was icing in her hair from the cake-tasting) we went out to the park to get some family pictures -- it was a wonderful day! ...Shootsac...

All of my friends/collegues know that my favorite photographer of all time is Miss Jessica Claire. And she is just about to release a SUPER COOL new line of camera bags for quick-shooting called Shootsacs! Check out her blog (which is where I got the picture below, taken by the infamous Becker) for some pictures HERE!

If I see a fabric that is blue and brown -- I am in trouble since I will be buying it to match my brand/colors! This will definitely be better than lugging my entire bag all over the park each weekend...

...the Samples!...

Last night Dave and I got to see the Samples again -- one of our favorite bands -- at the Beaumont Club. I have written about this place previously (HERE) when we saw them, just because they are SO great to let you bring in whatever camera gear you want! So I have a lot of great images of this band playing -- the lead singer Sean specifically. This is just a quick collage I put together of him and some from the show, and who knows -- he may read this someday! :)

And to show you how great they are to their fans -- Sean invited Rich AND Jason up on the stage to gust-play! This father/son duo was in the audience enjoying the show -- and while it took some convincing to get Jason on stage (well, downright carrying him up there) he did great! Rich is also a member of a band, so check them out HERE!

...Fellow Photographers...

So I have had the privilege of getting to know another photographer in the area by the name of Jamie Miller. We were able to schedule some time together last night to just talk about all things photography! It is always fun to be able to do that, and share ideas, etc. with someone who shares the same passion that you do. So of COURSE, we had to snap a few images -- since Jamie didn't have a head shot yet!!!

...Carli & Jonathan's E-Session...

Yesterday could not have been a nicer day outside for some images, and Carli & Jonathan made it even BETTER! I had them jumping, and hiking all over the park -- and they were wonderful. I cannot wait for your wedding with those gorgeous blue colors! And here is your SLIDESHOW!

Yes, I know that I am a little late in posting -- especially since this photo is from LAST week when we went to a little pre-Irish party in Waldo! I hope everyone had at least a little green on yesterday and celebrated with a green beer... :)

And perhaps you were as lucky as my husband-to-be, and had a girl take a clothing-iron to your hair and made you have a green mohawk...

...Something Different...

Every once-in-a-while you have to do something a little different than your "norm". I wanted to do a shoot that was totally different than my usual stuff, so I found a GREAT model who had a little time one afternoon -- so here is my friend Eric who also does some incredible voice-work. Check out his site to hear some samples!Check out some of these shots -- and there will be a digital short posted hopefully next week. I had a couple of interesting ideas and I can't wait to see them in a video!
